Leading European Asset Manager

A leading European asset manager with approximately EUR 260bn in assets under management is seeking a senior investor to lead its international equities platform, overseeing approximately EUR 7bn across seven equity funds.

This is a high-impact role combining portfolio management, leadership, and strategic influence. The successful candidate will lead a team of seven investment professionals while remaining an active portfolio manager with direct investment responsibility.

The platform has a strong foundation and solid long-term results, but the organisation is looking to bring in fresh energy, sharpen performance, and further develop the investment culture.

We are looking for:

• A proven fundamental equity investor with a strong long-term track record
• Experience within global equities preferred, although Europe or North America backgrounds are also highly relevant
• Large-cap experience is advantageous, but strong global small/mid-cap investors are also of interest
• An investor with strong market judgement, macro awareness, and high investment credibility
• Someone who enjoys engaging with clients, representing investment views externally, and operating in a visible leadership role
• A collaborative individual with leadership capability — either already leading teams or ready to step into such a role

Requirements

• Extensive experience within institutional asset management
• Proven portfolio management track record over multiple market cycles
• Experience managing mutual funds and/or institutional mandates
• Fluent English required
