Business Controller

Brocc was founded in 2016 as a Stockholm-based fintech within peer-to-peer lending and has since evolved into an established, pan-European niche bank focused on consumer lending and debt management. The company operates in more than 15 European markets, with offices in Sweden, Finland, and the UK.

Brocc is in a strong growth phase, with increasing scale and complexity driven by new products, business areas, and international expansion. This is a dynamic environment where financial governance, transparency, and strategic decision-making are key to continued success.

The Role

Brocc is strengthening its financial governance and is now recruiting a Business Controller to play a central role in shaping the company’s financial management during an important transformation phase. You will report directly to the CFO, work closely with senior management, and gain broad exposure across the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

·       Developing and enhancing reporting and performance follow-up processes

·       Supporting management with analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling

·       Creating financial transparency in close collaboration with Finance, Analytics, and operational teams

·       Contributing to the development of structures, tools, and ways of working as Brocc continues its transition into a banking group

This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced environment with significant ownership and visibility.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a driven and analytically strong Business Controller with extensive experience in business controlling within banking or financial services. You bring a strong financial foundation, experience from regulated environments, and the ability to independently drive initiatives from idea to implementation.

You have:

·       5–10 years of relevant experience in business controlling within banking or financial services

·       Strong analytical and technical skills

·       Extensive experience working with financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

·       Experience operating in a regulated environment

·       Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and take ownership
