Do you want to shape how one of the Nordics largest banks manages liquidity risk? SEB is a leading Nordic financial institution with a presence across Europe, serving corporate customers, institutions and private individuals with a full range of financial services.
Join SEB's Liquidity Risk team, a central function in the CRO organization, where you will combine quantitative depth with real business impact, working side by side with Treasury and senior leadership to drive sound risk management across the entire balance sheet.
As a Liquidity Risk Analyst, you will own and develop the models that underpin SEB's internal liquidity risk metrics and scenario analysis. You will work closely with Treasury and colleagues across business divisions and the CRO function, translating complex balance sheet dynamics into clear and actionable insights for senior management and the Board. The role sits at the intersection of quantitative modeling, regulatory expertise, and business partnership.
· Maintain, improve, and develop liquidity risk models for scenario analysis and internal risk metrics, ensuring they remain fit for purpose as business and market conditions evolve
· Drive process improvements and develop automated workflows to increase efficiency and scalability
· Design and refine liquidity risk scenarios that support strategic decision making, limit setting, and stress testing across the bank
· Conduct data collection, quality assessment, and model parameterization; document model assumptions, verify results, and maintain technical specifications
· Drive process improvements and develop automated workflows to increase efficiency and scalability
· University degree in mathematics, economics, engineering, finance, or a related field
· 3 or more years of experience in liquidity risk, treasury, or quantitative risk analysis
· Solid understanding of liquidity risk frameworks, metrics, and regulations such as LCR and NSFR
· Ability to connect business activities and balance sheet movements to risk implications
· Strong analytical mindset: structured, detail oriented, and comfortable challenging assumptions
· Fluent in English; Swedish is a plus
This is a rare opportunity to build deep expertise in liquidity risk at a leading Nordic bank, with genuine visibility into how Treasury, business areas, and CRO function connect. You will work in an intellectually stimulating environment, collaborate with international colleagues, and have your analysis directly inform decisions at the highest levels of the organization.
