We are looking for a Senior Quantitative Analyst to join Scania’s Financial Services team at the global headquarter in Södertälje, 30 minutes from Stockholm City. Scania Financial Services is serving customers, dealers and distributors in some 60 markets through 18 captive business units with financing and insurance solutions. In markets where we operate, Financial Services finance about one third of Scania’s truck sales. Over 1 000 dedicated professionals manage a portfolio consisting of 160 000 trucks, buses, coaches and trailers representing around 100 bn SEK of assets financed and more than 100 000 insurance policies.
As a Senior Quantitative Analyst you will be an important member of the central credit risk department. The credit risk management team is a core of Scania’s captive financial services with the main purpose to optimize credit risk management. The main focus will be working with Scania’s credit scoring models, models for automated credit approvals, impairment models for IFRS 9 and models for credit risk management on portfolio level. You will join a competent and senior team of five co-workers.
Your profile:
The right candidate for this senior role has a relevant university degree and the right working experience from the financial services or banking industry. You have a good aptitude for financial mathematics and a high level of computer programming skills. Experience in credit risk modelling (ECL, PD and LGD modelling) will be an advantage but we are also very interested in other skill sets within mathematics, programming, and financial modeling.
Good communication skills, including ability to work in a multicultural environment will be needed. You are self-motivated with a high level of dedication. Fluency in English is necessary.
